Garden Clubs Talk Roadside Beantiiicafion Representatives from nine of Ravalli county's 11 garden clubs exchanged ideas on ways and means of Joining in a county-wide effort toward roadside beautification at a recent meeting at the home of Mrs. E. Harley A. Howell and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taulman. Leonard Sargent played traditional wedding music and accompanied Tom Mitchell who sang "Always" and "The Wedding Prayer." The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an original "Portrait" creation in Point De spiret lace with fitted bodice, sabrina neckline, short sleeves and pointed finger-tip mitts.

The front of the bouffant skirt had alternate ruffles of lace and pleated nylon tulle. The train of Point De spiret lace ended with the pleated tulle. The fingertip veil was caught up to a seed pearl tiara and her jewelry was a pearl necklace. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis with white ribbon streamers. Mrs.

Richard Howell, Glendive, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor, and wore a medium blue sheath dress and carried a colonial bouquet of redroses and white carnations. June Hawe, Deer Lodge, school chum of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore a red ballerina-lenght chiffon dress and carried a white carnation bouquet. Amy Dittmaier, junior bridesmaid, also wore a red taffeta ballerina-length dress and carried a STARTS WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7 Gary Rouse. A wedding reception was held in the Guild hall following the ceremony with decorations including red and white flowers and Christmas greens. Mrs.

B. J. Dittmaier and Mrs. Richard Howell served the cake; Mrs. Dan Goode served the punch, Mrs.

Ed Oertli the coffee. Mrs. J. B. Centers was in charge of the guest book and Mrs.

Harold Mildenberger took care of the gifts. Mrs. Taulman is a 1956 Hamilton school graduate and is employed in the business office of the Mountain States Telephone office. Mr. Taulman, a 1955 graduate of Hamilton high school, was employed by the county road department for three years until his enlistment for six months of National Guard active duty last fall.

He left Friday to return to Fort Sill to complete his active service and expects to be discharged Feb. 9 when he plans to return to work with the road department.
