'Mr. O'Hare was one of three Mon t.annH who attended a recent AAA conference in Washington, D. during which the delegates were taken on a trip into Kentucky, Vir ginia, North Carolina ana Tennes-RPP. Mr. O'Hare said the deplorable pnn dit ions under which many of these people live was an eye opener to the delegates as to the magnitude of the problem facing agriculture.

The speaker declared that agriculture has a very definite place in the nation's economic structure and that the AAA was not accepting the theory that agriculturists had to go broke at the end of the present war. Announcement was made that officers would be installed at a picnic meeting in the city park next Tuesday night.
