day I I Clatworthy's Trailer Facility Will Open Late This Summer The newest business venture the East Fork area is a combined trailer court, recreation: area and fall hunting headquarters to be opened soon by Don and Edna Clatworthy. Work on the ten-acre facility is moving rapidly ahead. the Clatworthy family noted in an interview last week, and the Manning Rite Set Thursday Funeral rites for Ralph Manning. 82, a native of the Stevensville area, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Whitesitt Chap- cl.

Rev. Kenneth Loge will officate and burial will be in Stevensville's Riverview Cometery. Manning was born Sept. 8, 1885, i in Stevensville and attended schools in Stevi. He later worked for the Ravalli County road department and the U.S.

Purchase Plan To Protect Wheat Prices A purchase program will be available to assure Montana farmers participating in this year's wheat program a price at least as high as the local price support loan rate. the Montana ASCS office has announced. This action follows closely the announcement by the Secretary of Agriculture Orville.

Freeman that purchases will be undertaken where necessary to assure farmers the opportunity to secure the advantages of price support. am disturbed again this year by reports from some areas that farmers are being offered prices less than the local loan rate for their wheat." ASCS offices will purchase wheat from farmers at the local loan rate subject to premtums and discount for quality and normal storage charges. thus eliminating the storage requirements. This will enable farmers to deliver wheat immediately and get price support on this year's production, according to Mrs. J. Viola Herak.

Bramblett stated he would like to have at least 100 young people turn out for the meet. Children, both boys and girls, for mage 5 through 20, are eligible.

Contestants may sign up at the pool now. Bramblett added that any help from parents with the meet would be appreciated, and if not able to least come and watch the kids perform.
