Bob Reinbold Fatally Injured First Lieutenant Robert Reinbold, of the army air force, was accidentally killed early this week, according to a telephone message received yesterday afternoon by the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Reinbold, from Mrs. Reinbold. No details of the tragedy were received.

He was born February 13, 1918, in Missoula but attended the Hamilton schools, graduating from high school in 1936. He was a star basketball and football player. He attended the university in Missonla for two years, studying business administration. While there he affiliated with Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. After leaving school he was employed at the laboratory until his enlistment.

He left for duty with the army air corps on May 21, 1942, and received his commission on February 6, 1943, at Roswell, N. M. He was married the same day to Shyrle Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Parker, Hamilton.

He was promoted to first lieutenant about six weeks ago and was transferred from Roswell to Bryant, Texas, about a week ago for a special strument course. He was a pilot on a B-17. In addition to his widow he is survived by a son, Michael, who left Texas today by plane; parents; sister, Barbara, who recently returned home, and Jay, Norman, an aviation machinist's mate who left 'today by plane to join the fam. ily. The body will be brought here for burial.

VICTOR WAVE TRANSFERRED TO ARLINGTON, VA. Victor, April second class Bertha Maki, WAVE, has completed her training at Hunter College, N. and has been transferred to Arlington, Va. She is now working in the bureau of personnel, Washington, D. C.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Maki, Victor, she was employed at the laboratory in Hamilton at the time of her enlistment. Her brother, William, a marine, is serving in the South Paeific. RAVALLI EXAMINED AT COUNTY CLINIC CHILDREN Thirteen children from Ravalli county attended the orthopedic clinle for handicapped Missoula yesterday.

The meeting was called to consider the accrediting of schools and the placement of the cadet nurses. One is promised for May 15, two to come between June 11 and 18, one in July and another in September.

He enlisted in the army in November, 1940, and was a corporal technician in the quartermaster corps when he transferred to the air corps. Private Charles Greenfield, a brother, is in the personnel depart'ment of the infantry in the South Pacific. He wrote his parents recently that he was back with his outfit following a rest He graduated from Victor high school in 1929.

He was employed as a mail clerk on the N. P. for a number of years, leaving for military in June, 1942. He left the states in September the same year. He wrote that from the time he left the states until he reached the rest camp he had seen only one woman.

Haugen, Corvallis rancher, suffered fractured right leg in a fall while plowing his garden yesterday afternoon. He is receiving medical attention in Daly hospital. GRADE SCHOOL MEET. The Hamilton grade school track team will go to Corvallis tomorrow afternoon for a dual meet on Adams field. Logging Accident Fatal to Langley Lloyd W.

Langley, 42, Charlos Heights, was instantly killed, and Robert Zeiler, 26, Hamilton, was severely bruised and cut, in a logging accident on the Wall gulch operations of the Taber Mill company yesterday afternoon. The two were riding a caterpillar during skidding operations. The ground was soft and in going down hill over a log the machine skidded sideways and overturned. Langley was fatally hurt when caught by the machine which turned over and landed on its tracks. Both of Zieler's legs were pinned under the machine when it came to rest.

The mishap occurred about 3 p. but it was not until about 5 o'clock that Zeller's cries attracted attention. Langley was born December 1, 1901, in Susanville, and spent most of his life as a logger and forestry worker in the Bitter Root. Survivors include his widow at Charlos Heights, parents, Mr. and Mra.

G. W. Langley, west of Hamilton; sisters, Mrs. Norman Ray, Anaconda, who arrived last night; Mrs. James Brickley and Mrs.

Clarence D. Wentworth, both of kane, brothers, Vern, at home, Archie and George, Stevensville; Dave, Darby, and Walter, Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Langley just left Stevensville early this week en route to the coast to make their home.

FORMER VICTOR TEACHER JOINS AIR WACS Victor, April Strunk, Chinook teacher since leaving here at the mid-year in 1942, has been accepted for service in the air WACs, according ot information received by friends.
