4 Baccalaureate in Corvallis Sunday Corvallis Eighteen Corvallis high school seniors will begin their graduation exercises by attending baccalaureate services in the high school gym 8 Sunday. On Thursday p. m. they will receive their diplomas at commencement exercises. The Rev.

Jesse Dove will be the baccalureate speaker and talk on "A Purpose in Life." He will also read the scriptures, Daniel 20, the invocation and the benediction. LeRoy Standly will play the processional and the audience will sing two hymns "The Church Is One Foundation" and "He Leadeth After a prayer, the Corvallis high school girls sextet will sing "In The Garden" by Austin Miles. Winifred Brisbin is the director. After the hymn following Rev. Dove's sermon, the high school girls glee club will sing Anton Rubinstein's "Here Our Prayer." Mrs.

Brisbin is the director. The recessional will be played by Edith McMillan. M. A. Bell, assistant director of the agricultural experiment station, Montana State College, Bozeman, will give the commencement address, "As Till So Shall You Reap." The Rev.

Roger Robison will give the invocation and benediction. LeRoy Standly will play the processional and Edith McMillan will play the recessional. The high school glee club, under Mrs. Brisbin's direction will sing "Softly As In A Morning by Romberg-Scolson. Choir I and Choir II will sing "The Holy City," by Stephen Adams and arranged for two choirs by C.

Albert Scholin. Superintendent George B. McMillan will present the senior class and Otto Quast, chairman of the board of trustees, will present the diplomas. Principal William N. Sagin will award the scholarships and Corvallis American Legion Post No.

91 will present the American Legion Citizenship awards. The graduating seniors are Ellen Margaret Riley, Thomas William W. Miller, Frost, Ethlyn Wilma Fay B. M. Dye, WilKaiser, Lawrence Ruffatto, Madge Lucille Cole, Robert Andrew Miller, Ina Rose Greenup, Wayne Tower, Joan Vera Nordheim, Gabriel M.

Suarez, Pearl Irene Grissom, Raymond Tintzman, Hope Sanley, Robert Dewey Stephani, Eleanor I. Paddock, and George Lawrence Dye. The class motto is "Don't Just Itch for Success. Scratch for it." The red carnation is the class flower and the class colors are cherry red and gray. The marshalls are Beverly Korman and Rex Paddock.

The class officers are George Dye, president; Ellen Riley, vice president; Ethlyn Dye, secretary; Pearl Grissom, treasurer; and Joan Nordheim and Bill Frost, council representatives. Seven of Ravalli county, State of Montana, that the said board of trustees will on the 22nd day of June. 1950, at the hour of 8:30 o'clock p. m. at school house in said school district, sell to the highest and best der for cash, either amortization or serial bonds of the said district in the total amount of forty-three thousand dollars for the purpose of constructing or altering or repairing class rooms, lavatories and cafeteria and equipping same. If amortization bonds are sold and issued, the entire issue may be put into one single bond or divided into several bonds, as the said board of trustees may determine upon at the time of sale, both principal and interest to be payable in semi-annual installments during a period of 20 years from the date of issue. If serial bonds are issued they will be in the amounts of one thousand dollars one hundred dollars ($100.00) and fifty dollars ($50.00) each, two thousand one hundred bonds fifty dollars ($2,150.00) of the said serial will be the 1st day of July, 1951, and the sum of two thousand one hundred fifty dollars ($2,150.00) will become payable on the same day each year thereafter until all of such bonds are paid. The said bonds. whether amortization or serial bonds, will bear date of July 1, 1950, and will bear interest at a rate not exceeding six per centum per annum, payable semi-annually, on the 1st day of January and July in each year and will be redeemable in full on any interest payment date from and after ten years from the date of issue. The said bonds will be sold for not less than their par value with accrued interest.

Monday. Each family is asked to bring a pie for the lunch. O'DONNELLS TO RETURN IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS Frank J. O'Donnell, administrative officer at the Rocky Mountain Laboratory, who has been confined to the U. S.

Marine Hospital in Baltimore, since the latter part of March, was visited by Dr. Carl L. Larson, director of the laboratory, on May 14. Dr. Larson reports that Mr.

O'Donnell has now been released from the hospital and is making a satisfactory recovery. After special training in administrative procedures at the National Institutes of Health, Mr. O'Donnell, with Mrs. O'Donnell, who was called to Baltimore before his operation and has been one of his special nurses during his illness, will return to Hamilton in about two weeks. The Bell itinerary was revised this week so that it could be in Missoula Saturday for the Interscholastic meet. It is one of 49 that are being shown throughout the country during the bond drive which ends July MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC IN HAMILTON MONDAY The May Mental Health clinic will be held on Monday in the office of the county health nurse starting at 9 a. m. Dr. Gladys Holmes, from Montana State University will be in charge.

The May clinic is being sponsored by the Hamilton Woman's club. The June clinic will be sponsored by the Corvallis Woman's club and Wednesday evening the Hamilton American Legion auxiliary voted to underwrite the July clinic. The civic organizations are sponsoring the clinics because since February state funds have not been available for this use. The cost is about $15 for each meeting of the clinic. together with a hall and lavatories.

Mr. Simmons, a retired farmer in the Hamilton Heights district, died in Daly hospital Tuesday.
