It was a big day for 1 local track athletes on Saturday, as Darby, Florence and Victor competed in the Seeley-Swan Invitational track meet at Missoula County Stadium. Aaron Johnston of Darby was a triple win -ner, taking gold in the 100, 200 and 400. When his Tiger teammate Doug Raymer won the 800, and Seth Garbett followed that up with victories the 1,600 and 3,200, the entire individual running events were swept by the Darby boys. The Tigers ----took second place 4 the meet behind Charlo. The Darby girls also took second place behind Choteau, as Rachel Wetzsteon (200) and Heather Demorest (1,600, 3,200) won then-events.

Odessa Conley of Florence won the 300 hurdles, while her teammate Mariah Mitman won the high hump. Alex Mitchell of Florence won the boys high hump in a tie, while Kurt Manely of Victor won the javelin. Meanwhile, at the Wayne Estes Invite in Anaconda on Saturday, the Corvallis boys took third place behind Belgrade and Manhattan.
